A meeting to expand cooperation between the Vice-Chancellor for Cultural Affairs of Lorestan University and the university's growth and innovation centers was held.

With the aim of further introducing the research and innovation centers of Lorestan University's Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology to students, in order to increase interaction between student scientific associations and these centers with a focus on technology-based businesses, a joint meeting was held between the Vice-Chancellor and some cultural and social managers of Lorestan University with the Director of the Research and Technology Center of Lorestan University (Dr. Mohammad Jafari) and the Director of the Innovation Center of this university (Dr. Soroush Azadbakht).
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, in this meeting, which was held on Tuesday, May 7th of this year, hosted by the Research Center of Lorestan University, Dr. Mohammad Hayati, Vice-Chancellor for Cultural and Social Affairs of Lorestan University, Dr. Fatemeh Ahmadi, Director of Cultural and Social Planning of this university, Dr. Mohammad Jafari, Director of the Research and Technology Center, Zahra Rahimzadeh, Head of the Student Scientific Associations Department of the University, and Dr. Soroush Azadbakht (Director of the University Innovation Center) emphasized the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
More efforts to educate and empower students by relying on technological methods and supporting entrepreneurial student innovations were among the topics discussed by both sides.
Helping to form technology units and knowledge-based start-up companies, with the aim of creating hope and creating new opportunities and the necessary platforms to facilitate and achieve the goals related to the knowledge-based economy and increasing the spirit of creativity, entrepreneurship and technopreneurship in the university student environment, helping to develop a culture of ideation among students and facilitating access to specialized human resources for the research and innovation center companies, considering the joint cooperation agreement between the Vice-Chancellor for Cultural and Social Affairs and the Research Center of Lorestan University and utilizing the capacity of scientific associations to create the ground for turning innovative ideas into knowledge-based businesses, student visits to the Research Center to hold various student events and idea shows, and holding specialized entrepreneurship workshops and courses and meetings with successful entrepreneurs were other topics of the mentioned meeting.
In this meeting, each of the attendees presented their views and solutions to develop and strengthen the joint cooperation between the Vice-Chancellor for Cultural and Social Affairs and the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology of Lorestan University, with a focus on the university's research and innovation centers.
